Originally developed in response to the special demands of Alaskan sportfishing, Cory Armstrong has designed the Montague line of monohulls to combine the practicality of commercial boats with the comfort of recreational designs. The results are an irresistible combination of power, comfort, durability and value.
Introducing the Kestrel: Rugged, trailerable, easy to enjoy.
New for 2016, ACI Boats' Kestrel delivers solid construction and the head-turning good looks to match. Available in three lengths, all with a width of only 8'6", this monohull can be trailered anywhere you want to go. Underneath the surface you have the power to smoothly cruise at 28 knots with a top speed of over 35 knots. Fully equipped for sportfishing enjoyment, all three models of the Kestrel come standard with a full width cabin, galley and fully integrated electronics. The 24' model has a port-a-potty, the 26' and 32' models have a head with sink and shower standard. Depending on size, Kestrels sleep three to five.
ACI's Montague is the popular choice of charter captains, and is designed to combine performance and easy maintenance with optimal guest experience. An assertive design and tough, all-welded construction lets everyone know that this boat means business. Sized to accommodate six to 24 guests in three lengths, (30’, 36’ and 44’), this charter fishing monohull is available in a variety of propulsion packages and flexible cabin configurations. All models are fully equipped for charter excursions and offer walk-around cabins with 3600 of deck access.
ACI Boat’s Montague Charter Fishing Monohull proved to be so popular that recreational clients have asked us to build them a version for private use. With a few modifications, of course. Fully-equipped galley, settee, head with a shower…the list goes on. Don’t worry, it will have the same hull design with the impressive ride and handling that everyone is raving about. We're calling it the Montague Venture and should have the layout perfected and ready for release in the summer of 2016.
The Montague Combination Crabber provides its crew with a versatile monohull that provides everything needed for commercial crabbing in a cost-efficient package. Measuring 30’ x 11’ and powered by twin 250 hp Honda engines, the boat cruises at 28 knots with a 300 NM range. A full width cabin has forward leaning windows, a cuddy and 36” aft overhang. A Bentley helm chair and bench seating port side provides seating for four, and the v-berth comfortably sleeps two. Standard features include divided/insulated fish holds, hydraulics, aluminum davit and self-bailing decks. Garmin 8” chart plotter, sounder, radar, 18” HD dome and VHF radio are included standard as well. A second monitor is mounted in the aft starboard window. This is a no nonsense craft that provides its crew a comfortable, efficient place to work.
